At Pukeoware, the jigger is turned for the return trip. First, the front of the jigger is lifted up

The bogie is then moved back to the middle of the jigger and the vehicle lowered onto it

Now perfectly balanced, the jigger is easily able to be swung around by the crew

With the rear driving wheels back on the rails, the front of the jigger is lifted up again
