Sitting in the yard at Mission Bush, DC 4571 and DC 4041 have returned from their trip to Australia, and are planned to be used on work trains in Auckland for the City Rail Link. The locomotives still retain their modifications for Australia, most notably the air conditioning fitted to DC 4571
