On a special event day, Glenbrook Vintage Railway were running two trains, one with Ww 644, and this one with Ja 1250, running tender first out to Waiuku

This interesting rail vehicle is a "logging jigger", used to carry logging workers into the forest by rail. This is its first appearance at the GVR. The level crossing in the background is on the KiwiRail-owned Mission Bush branch

The new Victoria Ave station in Waiuku, a simpe station that serves as the new terminus of the Glenbrook Vintage Railway. The extension was opened to the public during Labour Weekend in 2010

Glenbrook Vintage Railway use the original road numbers for their rolling stock, however the TMS numbers are applied as well. The Aa class carriages shared numbers with the DC class. Here, Aa 1494 imitates DC 4093, itself well-known for wearing just about every livery ever
