After finally getting clearance to depart, Ww 480 leads DBR 1254 out of Pukeoware to rescue Thomas (Bagnall) which had become disabled before Glenbrook

After DBR 1254 departed from Glenbrook and arrived back at Pukeoware, DBR 1295 was added to the head of the train. DBR 1295 was to provide power to the Thomas shuttles after the Bagnall failed

At Glenbrook, DBR 1295 is attached to the rear of the Thomas shuttle to provide the power. Thomas was still attached and was still able to sound its whistle, so the ride still proved popular with the public
