Over a weekend Block of Line, the new overbridge at Porters Ave was lifted into place. The bridge is scheduled to open later in 2022 ahead of the rest of the CRL, and will eventually span four tracks instead of just one that is currently operational

Viewed from the new road bridge, the live Down Main runs alongside the almost fully excavated trench for two other tracks, with the fourth splitting off on the other side of the bridge. With the closure of the temporary bridge and part of Mt Eden Road, it's no longer possible to view work in the rail corridor between these locations
